CRLN is hiring an Executive Director – spread the word
(Español Aquí) The Chicago Religious Leadership Network on Latin America seeks a dynamic leader with a deep commitment to social justice and human rights, and the ability to put those gifts into action to build a better world. Building on CRLN’s twenty-five years of human rights work, our Executive Director will lead us to the next level of analysis, partnership, and vision as we strengthen our work to promote sustainable economies, just relationships, and human dignity in our hemisphere.
Working with our experienced and committed staff, dedicated Board of Directors, and members, our ED will provide visionary guidance, creative management, and inspiring direction in response to the ongoing challenges of our times such as: creating just U.S. policies that address both the needs of migrants and the root causes of migration; promoting economic relationships that respect the rights of workers throughout the hemisphere; supporting Afro-Descendent, Indigenous and campesino struggles for territorial rights; and challenging existing structures of militarism, corruption, and impunity.
Our ED will be responsible for the overall health and well-being of the organization, working collaboratively with staff to set priorities, make program decisions, and maintain commitment to our mission, vision and values. S/he will also lead our fundraising efforts and coordinate our staff and consultants. Our ED will be a fluent Spanish and English speaker. This is a fulfilling, exciting, and challenging job!
